"TWC" - Dropkick MurphiesWell Dropkick are back pulling along their very unique style of bar-room-bagpipe-punk with them. "The Warrior's Code" comes out on the 21st of May.   
First up, I'd love to say this album is ALOT better than Blackout, I'm pretty happy with it myself. It's alot more poppy, still not quite as in tune as any other band. Groovy catchy bar-room-beer-tipping tunes is the best way I can describe it. Best song would have to be, "Warrior's Code" for one, because its the title of the album, it also has a nice bagpipe/drum solo in there.  
 
The most weird song on there is "The Green Fields Of France" which... is kinda like Dropkick "TWC" - Dropkick Murphies

"IATM" - Motion CityWell first of all, I didn't really pay much attention to these guys over the various punk'o ramas, always considering them to be alright, but not really "listen to the whole cd worthy". But on the punk'o rama 9 Dvd they featured a really cool song called "The Future Freaks Me Out" With amazing visuals and deep yet comical lyrics to provide a general feel good effect in the end. After running along and getting the full album of "I Am The Movie" I was happy to find that all their songs featured this kind of style, maybe not deep in the sense of contemplating the way of life, but the very diffrent view in a pop punk world dominated by emotional "IATM" - Motion City

"TESF" - Bad ReligionBad Religion does it again, not quite as exciting or varying as the titles on Process, but still portraying issues in the non-generic way that other punk rock bands just dont try for,(they dont say "George Bush is bad"). Its original thats for sure, the new age rap in "Let Them Eat War" to the strangely happy yet meaningful "The Surface Of Me" are a breath of fresh air. All and all, you should buy this album and every other one they've made or God will eat you. "TESF" - Bad Religion

"EVDKTL" - The MatchesI have to admit, I'd never heard of The Matches till I got my copy of punk-o-rama 9 and busted out "Sick Little Suicide" which I absolutely loved so I then went out and bought the album. The Matches have seemed to fuse the awesome music of todays pop-punk and actually brought some intelligent and not whiney lyrics with them. "E. Von Dahl Killed The Locals" is an amazing Cd and I recommend it to anyone. "EVDKTL" - The Matches

I never considered No Doubt to be ska... eh, learn something everyday, operation ivy is alrighty too. Just saw Basketball again, love reel big fish in that :)

No doubt's first albums were Ska. They go way back. They toured with Sublime, taht'd be the most kickass show.
